Featuring LaRhonda Steele and Julie Amici
Several of the Northwest’s most beloved musical artists will take the stage for the “Sugar & Spice” holiday showcase on Monday, December 17 at the Lake Theater & Cafe.
The show is a benefit for Fly me to the Moon, a cultural enrichment program founded by Dean Mueller, the artistic director of Music Mondays at the Lake Theater & Cafe.
It will feature the award-winning singers LaRhonda Steele and Julie Amici, along with an all-star band including Dave Fleschner, Carlton Jackson, and Dean Mueller. They will be showcasing various styles of Jazz, Blues, R&B, Soul, and a touch of Christmas.
FLY ME TO THE MOON
Fly me to the Moon will bring professional musical performances to retirement communities, assisted living centers, and memory care facilities. It operates in partnership with Oregon Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF), the non-profit organization charged with honoring the musical heritage of our state.
“Live music is the most successful program you can offer in a senior living community. It appeals to the largest number of seniors, and holistically feeds their emotional, mental, physical, and communal needs.” - Laura McCormack, Life Enrichment Director, The Quarry Senior Living
The Sugar & Spice benefit concert is expected to sell out, but there are still sponsorship opportunities to support Fly me to the Moon.
