We are delighted to welcome back Marv & Rindy Ross as they return to their acoustic roots with Eddie Parente on violin, Rindy on soprano sax and Marv on guitar.
Joining them is Jon Koonce for a special presentation of some of the new material Marv & Jon have been working on for their new EP.
Jon is a huge presence in the Portland area music scene, an Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductee, and someone whose roots rock music has remained relevant for five decades in the NW.
Rindy & Marv Ross are the singer/songwriter duo that founded Seafood Mama, Quarterflash, and The Trail Band. Oregon natives, they are best known for their 5 top-forty songs with Quarterflash including their #3 hit, Harden My Heart. After a decade in the eighties of gold and platinum records and extensive touring with Elton John, Linda Ronstadt, and Jefferson Starship, the Rosses created The Trail Band - a brass and string early Americana band that has released 13 CDs and has toured internationally including a rare three-week series of appearances in North Korea. Marv & Rindy also created the hit Artist Rep musical, 'The Ghosts of Celilo', garnering 11 Portland Area Musical Theatre Awards. The Rosses were inducted into The Oregon Music Hall of Fame and received the Alumni Award of Excellence from Western Oregon University for their contributions to Oregon arts and history. Tickets available online until 4 pm day of the show.
