One of the hottest Americana bands in the Country, The Dustbowl Revival, will be performing Sept 11th in Lake Oswego at Lake Theater & Cafe. The concert will be part of the Award Winning Music Mondays Series that has brought music to Lake Oswego every Monday night at 7:00pm for 3 years running. The invitation to perform came on the heals of their show-stopping main stage performance at the 2017 Waterfront Blues Festival.
Over the past few years, The Dustbowl Revival has been making a name for itself with a vibrant mix of vintage Americana sounds. Critics have proclaimed that this eclectic eight-piece “would have sounded utterly at home within the hallowed confines of Preservation Hall in New Orleans' French Quarter” (Los Angeles Times) and their “upbeat, old-school, All-American sonic safaris exemplify everything shows should be: hot, spontaneous, engaging and, best of all, a pleasure to hear” (L.A. Weekly). Rob Sheffield, in Rolling Stone, hailed them as a great band “whose Americana swing was so fun I went back to see them again the next day.”
AWARDED BEST LIVE BAND IN LA!
"In a city like Los Angeles, home to musical stars in nearly every known genre, handing out the Best Live Band title is not easy. But the free-thinking local collective Dustbowl Revival's upbeat, old-school, All-American sonic safaris exemplify everything shows should be: hot, spontaneous, engaging and, best of all, a pleasure to hear. " -LA WEEKLY
"It was an old-time medicine show featuring the kind of roots music that normally isn't my cup of twang, except it offered great bands like the Dustbowl Revival, whose Americana swing was so fun I went back to see them again the next day." -ROLLING STONE
Tickets available online until 4 pm day of the show.
